The future is about to collide with the past. Eric, a digital loving executive on a mansion hunting expedition finds himself crossing swords with his realtor, Max, an out of work toon rabbit. Like it or not, Max will make Eric see things through the eyes of an "Animated American."
REVIEW
A couple of veteran Disney studio hands, Baker and Haidar went indie to collaborate on this mixed media spoof of Hollywood styles and techniques. Stuffing a cinematic blender with measured portions of Dashell Hammett, Raymond Chandler, Beverly Hills, Silver Lake, Who Killed Roger Rabbit? and Todd Browning's Freaks, they whip up the highly emotional battle between digital and hand-drawn screen cartooning. The result took Best Short honors at the Fort Lauderdale International Film Festival this fall.
